The "Anadolu" agency reported that Turkish security continues investigation procedures with 34 suspects after their detention on charges of spying for the Israeli "Mossad" against foreign nationals residing in Turkey for humanitarian reasons.
"Anadolu" explained that the accused "underwent medical examinations on Thursday at the government hospital in the Bayrampaşa district of Istanbul, under security supervision".
It indicated that "after completing the necessary examinations, the security forces returned the suspects to the police headquarters in Istanbul to complete the investigation with them".
The agency stated that Turkish security authorities began on Wednesday to take statements from the 34 suspects, after their detention on Tuesday in a security operation that included 8 Turkish provinces as part of an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Public Prosecutor’s Office’s Anti-Terrorism and Organized Crime Investigation Bureau.
According to "Anadolu", investigations revealed that the "Mossad" aimed to carry out activities such as surveillance, tracking, assault, and kidnapping against foreigners residing in Turkey for humanitarian reasons.
