The Jordan News Agency confirmed that 6 trucks carrying medicines, equipment, and medical supplies crossed the King Hussein border bridge between Jordan and Palestine on Tuesday afternoon.

Earlier, the Jordanian Cabinet decided during its session on Sunday to allocate 45,000 tons of wheat and grains and 7 trucks carrying medicines, medical supplies, and pharmaceutical equipment for Palestinians in the West Bank as part of ongoing humanitarian aid to Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza.

Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh also announced during the session that arrangements are being made with the World Health Organization, initiated by the King Hussein Cancer Center in Amman, to receive a group of children suffering from cancer in Gaza, so that they can be treated at the center once conditions for their transfer are available.

This support comes in addition to what was previously allocated by directive of the Jordanian monarch, including support for the budget of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) with an amount of 3 million Jordanian dinars (4.22 million dollars), and convoys of aid that are being transferred to Al-Arish Airport via Royal Jordanian Air Force planes to relieve and support the people of Gaza.
