Despite the ongoing temporary truce for the sixth day between the Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip and Israel, and amid intensive discussions to extend it, the Israeli occupation army violated it again.

Al Arabiya.net confirmed that the occupation boats targeted the western Khan Younis governorate, in the south of the Gaza Strip today, Wednesday, November 29, 2023, with shells.

The shells also targeted the central governorate in Gaza.

This violation comes in addition to a significant previous breach yesterday, Tuesday, when the occupation forces heavily fired east of Khan Younis and Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip, as well as the Shati camp north of Gaza, and the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood.

An official from the Zionist entity had indicated late yesterday that if the truce is extended, it is likely that Israeli military operations in Gaza will resume or renew again.

He also confirmed that continuing the release of detainees held by Hamas "will in no way lead to a permanent ceasefire."

It is noted that Hamas had announced yesterday that the humanitarian truce in the Gaza Strip might be extended in the near future for another two days.

Meanwhile, behind the scenes, intensive discussions and meetings are taking place in Doha between Israeli, Qatari, American, and Egyptian officials to extend the truce and expand the negotiations for the release of prisoners to include Israeli men and soldiers, after they were limited so far to women and children from both sides.
