The Palestinian Prisoners' Club stated that Israeli occupation forces have arrested at least 16 citizens from the West Bank since last night until this morning, Sunday, including a journalist and former prisoners.
It added in a statement through its official page on the social media site "Facebook" that the arrests were distributed across the provinces of: Jerusalem, Hebron, Jenin, Qalqilya, and Nablus, accompanied by assaults and threats against the detainees and their families, along with widespread destruction and damage to citizens' homes.
It is worth noting that the Israeli occupation forces have arrested more than 10,000 citizens from the West Bank, including Jerusalem, since the onset of the ongoing genocide and total aggression against Gaza, and this figure includes those who were arrested from their homes, through military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender under pressure, and those who were held as hostages.
The occupation continues to carry out arrest campaigns in the West Bank, which are accompanied by systematic abuse and torture against the detainees and their families, in an unprecedented manner, with the occupation not exempting the sick, injured, and elderly during the arrest campaigns.
The club clarified that the data regarding the cases of arrest include detainees from the West Bank without Gaza, which are estimated to be in the thousands.
