Sixty-two Palestinians evacuated from the Gaza Strip and arrived in Dagestan received Russian passports, and the issue of regulating the legal status of the other refugees is being resolved.
The administration of the Head of the Russian Republic of Dagestan said on "Telegram" today, Tuesday, that 156 Palestinians evacuated from the Gaza Strip to Dagestan, including 81 children, are living in one of the recreation centers, where a temporary residence center has been established.
The President’s administration added that work continues in Dagestan to support Palestinians forced to leave their country.
Health insurance cards and personal accounts have also been issued, and the possibility of obtaining a monthly grant for the birth and upbringing of children is also planned to be considered.
According to the authorities in the Republic of Dagestan, refugees are fully provided with warm clothing and basic necessities. Additionally, "the competent bodies continuously provide psychological care, and health measures, epidemic control, and medical examinations are being carried out."
