A man and a woman were found dead on Friday evening after being shot in a commercial vehicle in the city of Longueuil.
The police received a call around 8:15 pm on Friday reporting a shooting in a parking lot on De Léon Street in Longueuil, according to the Longueuil Police Department.
A man and a woman were found and immediately transported by ambulance to the hospital. A few hours later, the victims died from their injuries.
Authorities say the gunshots were fired from a car that left the scene before officers arrived.
A security perimeter has been established and an investigation is ongoing to determine the motives behind the shooting. No arrests have been reported so far.
