Discovery of a murdered corpse. A frightening reminder to investigators about the traveling serial killer who roams the highways and two-lane roads of the American West. They will also receive messages from the main predator, all signed with a smiling face.

He was dubbed by the police as the Happy Face Killer. Truck driver Keith Jesperson, of Chilliwack origin, British Columbia, was arrested and convicted of killing eight women between 1990 and 1995.

Investigators added that the actual number of victims was closer to 185. While Jesperson now spends the rest of his life in an Oregon state prison, he continues his pursuit of the families of his victims – and even his daughter Melissa Moore, who turned to TikTok to reveal her father's messages. Jesperson once told his daughter, "I never stopped loving you." But his messages from prison were harsh.

She said, "He says I'm fat and my husband is fat," adding that he once sent a handbag made by a fellow inmate in prison. Moore got married earlier this year and Jesperson had something to say about that. He took a picture from her Instagram post and claimed that the couple "won't last" because they "don't run." Strangely, he also asked why he wasn't invited.

His daughter says having a serial killer father destroyed her life and she told her story to both Dr. Phil and Oprah Winfrey. Her father also sends messages to Moore's sister. Moore said, "I read some of them, and others I don't read… they can be very harsh," adding that she was frequently working in counseling even though it "might not be enough."

She said, "I started going to therapy when I noticed triggers and I work on a real crime case with other crime survivors and I started noticing some patterns in their lives resulting from the trauma they lived through. I had to see that I was also dealing with some of those responses."
