The authorities are working to determine the cause of death and the identity of the man whose body was pulled from Wascana Lake on Thursday afternoon.
Regina Police say they were called to Wascana Lake at around 3:20 pm that day after a body was discovered in the water near Willow Island.
According to a statement issued by the Regina Police Service (RPS) on Friday morning, "The body was pulled from the lake with the help of Regina Fire and Protective Services."
Both the RPS and the Saskatchewan Coroner's Service are working to determine how the man died. His identity is unknown at this time.
