The Algerian presidency also announced in a late Saturday statement that the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will not attend the Arab summit scheduled for November 1st and 2nd in Algeria, adhering to doctors' advice and recommendations to avoid travel. The same statement said that Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune received a phone call from the prince Mohammed "in which he expressed his regret for not attending the Arab summit meeting." The statement continued according to the Algerian News Agency: "The president expressed his understanding of this situation and his regret that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman could not attend, wishing him good health and well-being, and expressing that the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will always be present with us in all circumstances."
