Toronto Police are investigating two early morning shooting incidents in the city. The first incident occurred shortly after 3 a.m. on Sunday in the entertainment district near Pearl and Simcoe Streets, where investigators said a man was found with non-life-threatening injuries and was then taken to the hospital. Additionally, Pearl Street remains closed currently from Simcoe Street to Duncan / Ed Mirvish Way while police investigate. Also, several shots were fired a little over an hour later at approximately 4:20 a.m. in North York near Jane Street and Shoreham Drive, where police also said they found another man with non-life-threatening injuries and the victim was later taken to the hospital. Drivers should expect delays in the area while police continue to investigate the causes of the two incidents.
