Specialized enforcement teams from both sides of the regional border managed to arrest a known drug dealer in Lloydminster.
Teams from the "Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team" (ALERT), the "Saskatchewan Law Enforcement Response Team" of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and Lloydminster Police arrested a 41-year-old man on January 2.
The police seized several items from an apartment in Lloydminster, including a short firearm, a bomb filled with cocaine and fentanyl, and ammunition. The suspect is facing five charges, including possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
