Palestinian President's advisor Dr. Mahmoud Al-Habbash confirmed that their current priority is to completely stop the Israeli aggression on Gaza.

Al-Habbash added - during a phone call with (Cairo News) channel - that the temporary truce in Gaza gave hope for the possibility of building on it, and we look forward to a comprehensive ceasefire, pointing out that President Mahmoud Abbas confirmed to U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken that the United States can pressure Israel to stop the aggression with a single word.

He expressed his hope for the solidarity of the American position towards the Palestinian cause and the translation of American statements on the necessity of a political solution based on the two-state solution into reality, adding that the Palestinian side wishes to see real American steps on the ground to solve the current crisis.

Al-Habbash called for the necessity of changing the way Arabs and Muslims talk with the American administration, explaining that the American administration must be alerted that their political and economic interests are at risk due to the current situation and that this is unacceptable to our peoples.

He pointed out the necessity of providing all basic supplies to the besieged people of Gaza Strip, indicating that the amount of supplies does not equal a quarter of what is required for the sector.

The Palestinian President's advisor also confirmed the necessity of thwarting the displacement plan mentioned by Israeli leaders, headed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, praising the honorable Egyptian and Jordanian stance in this context, clarifying that the whole world has become rejecting of this idea, including the United States of America.
