A month of continuous bombing on the Gaza Strip has led to an unprecedented food crisis, where parents give up meals to feed their children, residents drink contaminated water to suppress hunger, and some are killed while waiting in line for the bakery.

The United Nations warns of the worsening situation in the Strip, confirming that people have passed the breaking point,

Asma, a mother of four children living in Deir al-Balah city in the middle of Gaza, says, "We are in a slow and continuous death process. I have not eaten for two days and feel constant thirst."

Asma added, "During the first two weeks of the war, we could still find food in stores, but with the imposed siege on the Strip and continuous bombing, store shelves are now empty, we have money but there is nothing to buy."

Asma continued, "In the past few days, the situation has become unbearable, there is no clean water, no electricity, no gas, and no food. We wake up every morning wondering if we will die of hunger or from bombing bombs."

Despite this, UN agencies such as the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), UNICEF, and other international agencies such as the World Health Organization have condemned the situation in the Strip and called for the transfer of more supplies.

The Israeli Ministry of Defense unit responsible for facilitating the passage of aid to the Gaza Strip said that there is no shortage of food, water, or other humanitarian supplies in the Strip, and that the stock of vital supplies is monitored on a daily basis.

Colonel Elad Gorin of the Israeli army, from the Government Activities Coordinator unit in the occupied territories under the Ministry of Defense, insisted that amidst the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas, the levels of humanitarian aid provided to Gaza were much higher than the minimum levels required by international law, and that the humanitarian situation is under continuous review.

The health authorities in Gaza, controlled by Hamas, confirmed that more than 10,000 Palestinians have been killed during the war launched by Israel on Gaza, aiming to eliminate the resistance movement, including at least 4,000 children.
