Ashraf Dabbour, the Ambassador of Palestine to Lebanon, said that the Israeli occupation targets residential neighborhoods and homes in the Gaza Strip, without considering the rights of civilians throughout the past period.
Dabbour added in an exclusive interview with "Cairo News" channel, today Saturday, that the current Israeli government is extremist and does not respect international law, pointing out that the Israeli army targets Palestinians in the north and south of the Gaza Strip, where it destroyed 40% of the Strip within just three weeks.
He stressed his country's rejection of any plans targeting the displacement of Palestinians, noting the existence of plans to divide Al-Aqsa Mosque and build the Dome of the Rock.
The Ambassador of Palestine to Lebanon expressed his country's appreciation for the position of the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi in rejecting the idea of forcibly displacing the Palestinians, and also praised the Jordanian stance rejecting the idea of deporting Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.
Dabbour mentioned that the European governments support Israel in its massacres in the Gaza Strip, calling on the international community to do justice to the Palestinian people, immediately stop the fire without any conditions, and open humanitarian corridors for the Palestinians.
The Ambassador of Palestine to Lebanon described the Israeli obstinacy regarding the Rafah crossing as a crime against humanity, affirming that Egypt stands with the Palestinian people politically and popularly, expressing his appreciation for President Al-Sisi’s position in holding the "Cairo Peace Conference" regarding the situation in Gaza.
