Ontario Provincial Police remind drivers of the necessity to clear their cars of snow before driving on the roads, after a driver was accused of not doing so.
Aurora OPP stopped a 39-year-old driver in the area of Highway 400 Mapleviews Drive because of the amount of snow covering his car windows.
The police previously issued fines of $85 to Ontario drivers for driving vehicles without clear visibility.
The Greater Toronto Area (GTA) experienced snowfall and rain, and these weather conditions are expected to continue until tomorrow.
Bill Coulter, a meteorologist at CP24, said: "The extensive complex system that caused unstable weather since last Tuesday still affects southern Ontario" until tomorrow, Saturday.
Winter weather travel warnings were in effect for most of the GTA and southern Ontario on Thursday morning due to the possibility of snowfall, but they have since ended. However, some school buses in Simcoe County were canceled.
