The Kuwaiti meteorologist Fahd Al-Otaibi stated that the Jahra area in Kuwait recorded the highest temperature in the world yesterday, Friday, at 51 degrees Celsius.
This comes as the Meteorological Department reported that Kuwait City recorded 49 degrees, the Abdaly area 50 degrees, and Jahra 51 degrees, according to what the Kuwaiti newspaper "Al-Rai" mentioned.
This occurred while the electric load index exceeded 16 megawatts, reaching 16141 megawatts by Friday afternoon.
Local media reported that this is due to the rise in weather temperatures.
