Negotiations continued between Israel and Hamas on Friday morning to extend the truce, but no agreement was announced on this matter, until the Israeli army announced the resumption of fighting.

On Friday morning, the Israeli army announced that it intercepted a rocket launched from the Gaza Strip just before the truce with Hamas ended. The army said on Telegram that the air defense system "successfully intercepted a rocket launch" from Gaza.

Meanwhile, Israeli planes and drones are flying over the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

News from the Gaza Strip reported that there are two martyrs and several injuries in an Israeli airstrike targeting a house in Al-Maghazi Camp in central Gaza.

Also, 5 Palestinian citizens, including children, were martyred in an Israeli airstrike on a house in central Rafah after the truce between Israel and Hamas ended.

A house belonging to the Adwan family in the western market area in central Rafah was targeted, resulting in five martyrs and dozens of injuries.

Reuters and Al Jazeera reported, quoting media affiliated with Hamas, hearing explosions and gunfire in the northern Gaza Strip, especially northwest of Gaza City.

Al Jazeera correspondent Tarek Abu Azoum, who was sending reports from Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, said, "This incident coincided with Israeli drones and fighter jets flying over the skies of the Gaza Strip."

Agence France-Presse quoted eyewitnesses who spoke of activity of heavy planes and drones northwest of Gaza.

Earlier, the Israeli army announced that it intercepted a rocket near the border with Israel.
