Netherlands: Dead and injured as a heavy truck runs over a group of people

The Dutch police said on Saturday that several people were killed in an incident when a truck rushed into a street party held in the town of Nieuw Beijerland in the south of the country.

The police did not specify the number of victims but said they are investigating the incident that occurred around 7 p.m. local time (1700 GMT) about 30 kilometers south of Rotterdam.
