Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Galant, and Minister Benny Gantz held a press conference this evening (Saturday) in Kiryat at Tel Aviv, and the three are expected during the press conference to address the fighting of the Israeli army forces in various arenas within the "Iron Swords" war and dealing with the hostages in Gaza, and they will answer journalists' questions.

First, Netanyahu addressed the families of the victims of the Israeli army whose loved ones fell in battles on the battlefield: "I would like to begin with my heartfelt condolences to the families of our heroic fighters who fell in the Gaza Strip. We all embrace with love and salute the heroism of our victims.
They fought for all of us to protect the home, and thanks to them our lives have become secure. May God have mercy on them and their blood." He also referred to the abductees and missing persons: "As I saw the march of the families of the abductees, I want to say to the families of those abducted, I walk with you, and all the people of Israel walk with you, and your loved ones are in our hearts and before our eyes all the time."

The Prime Minister explained: "There are many incorrect posts, I will clarify - until this moment, there has been no agreement. But when we have something to say, we will inform you. We know the terrible suffering, and the nightmare we live in." Families are. We look at the pictures, and think: "This is my son, this is my daughter, this is my husband, my wife, my father." Tonight, I invited representatives of the families to a meeting with the cabinet later this week to clarify the importance of this issue."

He also stressed: "O citizens of Israel, we have so far achieved very important accomplishments. We have eliminated thousands of terrorists and senior officials, destroyed government centers, tunnels, and more. And this has been achieved through three things. First, the heroism of our sons and daughters I met the Caracal fighters and armored forces who eliminated dozens of terrorists in the battle - a masterpiece. I met the Bedouin Dagser monitors whose friends fell on the first day of the war and tears in their eyes continue to watch over us all."
He continued: "The second thing is the unity and determination of the people. I met with mayors of cities in the south and north, who provide full support to the Israeli army, the Shin Bet, security forces, and the Israeli army." Government. They all tell me: "Keep going, don't stop." I heard that from evacuees, and from the wounded who say the same things with a heavy heart, but with a strong spirit. The Israeli spirit is the second condition for achieving victory."
Netanyahu added: "The third is the political Iron Dome that allows us to continue fighting until victory." "After 43 days of intense fighting, O Israeli citizens, this is not clear. Whether inside the United States or worldwide, a lot of pressure is being applied to us. Many pressured not to enter Gaza, so we entered, and I and my friends resist the pressures and tell the world that we will continue fighting until victory. Until we destroy Hamas and bring back our abductees."

He explained that "It is impossible to achieve a military victory without political backing, and it is impossible to achieve a political victory without addressing public opinion." This is not clear, since day one I have made an intensive effort with my friends to maintain support. I appear in American media almost every day to convince American public opinion, and I personally meet with senators; in Washington, there was the greatest show of support since the founding of the country."

Later, Netanyahu said: "I would like to address humanitarian aid, first and foremost - Israel operates according to the laws of war, and this is how our army operates, it is the most ethical in the world. Humanitarian aid is necessary to continue." Support, and without it, it will be difficult for our friends to support us as well. The war cabinet unanimously decided - this is a small amount of fuel; without it, an epidemic could immediately break out that would harm the population of the Gaza Strip and the IDF soldiers. This is not a change in policy, but a limited political response to prevent the spread of epidemics."

"Even if the pressures increase, I will not stop committing to the three tasks I set: first, achieving full victory and destroying Hamas. Second, bringing back the abductees. And I will not abandon this sacred mission. Third, ensuring that Gaza will never pose a threat to Israel after victory. And I will not allow terrorist elements that strengthen their sons to kill Jews and eliminate the State of Israel. Without such a transformation, it is only a matter of time." Before Gaza returns to terrorism: the IDF will have full freedom of action in Gaza against any threat, and this is another condition. This is the only way we will ensure Gaza is cleared of nuclear weapons. We will continue until victory, defeat Hamas, bring back our hostages, and restore security in the south and north. He concluded: "Together we will fight and, God willing, together we will be victorious."
