Montreal police open an investigation after discovering a stolen car while extinguishing a fire at the train station.

The Canadian police in Montreal announced the opening of an investigation following the explosion of a BMW car in the parking lot of the St Lambert Exo train station on the south shore of Montreal.

For his part, Longueuil Police (SPAL) spokesperson, François Boucher, stated that emergency services received a 911 call regarding a car fire after the explosion at 9:30 PM on Friday night.

After extinguishing the flames, investigators discovered that the car
had been reported stolen.

The police are also investigating whether the fire is linked to any other incidents, and no one was injured in the fire.
