Dr. Sherif Hanafy, a professor of clinical pharmacy at the University of Alberta in Canada, said he received the "Excellence" award in Canada.

He added that this award is given every year in Canada and more than 50 individuals from certain institutions are nominated for this award, pointing out that the Canadian Pharmacists Association includes about 80,000 to 100,000 pharmacists, and I am the best pharmacist among this number.

Sherif Hanafy added during media statements that there are 10 provinces in Canada, and each province nominates 10 names, followed by eliminations and then only one is selected, noting that the award is announced in June, followed by a celebration to receive the award and work with them to elevate the image of pharmacists in Canada.

He added that he dedicates the award to his family, who are the reason for what he has achieved, as well as to all Egyptians and pharmacists, telling them that nothing is impossible, and there is no failure.

Sherif Hanafy clarified that the award is based on my overall work in addition to the research that discussed developing new methods for treating patients with cerebral hemorrhage and reducing complications for patients.
