The Canadian police arrested the wanted fugitive in Canada in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, last night, Tuesday.
According to a press release from the Charlottetown Police Services, officers arrested 35-year-old Michael Beebe on Belvedere Avenue around 7:20 PM.
The Toronto Police Services also contacted the Charlottetown Police last week to request assistance regarding tips they received about Beebe possibly being on the island.
Beebe, who recently topped the list of the 25 Most Wanted Fugitives in Canada, was wanted in connection with a fatal shooting in Toronto on July 23, 2023.
Officials offered a reward of $100,000 for information that could lead to Beebe's arrest.
