A man from Calgary is wanted under a Canada-wide arrest warrant for murder.

The Calgary Police published a photo of a wanted man under a Canada-wide arrest warrant for first-degree murder.

The police said on Friday that the arrest warrant for Jesse James Pearson, 37, was issued after he failed to turn himself in to the Calgary detention center.

Pearson is described as being 5'11" (180 cm) tall and weighing 181 pounds (82 kilograms), with a medium build, green eyes, and light brown hair.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the Calgary Police at 403-266-1234.
