The Jordanian Royal Court announced that Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the crown prince, and Princess Rajwa Hussein welcomed a daughter today, Saturday, naming her Iman.

The Jordanian Royal Court expressed its congratulations to Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa on the birth of their daughter.

The crown prince wished those from the Jordanian family who would like to congratulate on this occasion to replace sending gifts or bouquets of flowers with a donation to the Aman Fund for Orphans' Future, in support of orphaned youth.

The Jordanian monarch, King Abdullah II, congratulated Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa on their first child in a tweet this morning, stating, "Praise be to God who blessed us with our first granddaughter Iman, daughter of Hussein. I congratulate Hussein and dear Rajwa on their newborn. We ask God to nurture her well and protect her for her parents. You have illuminated our family, Grandma."
