The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) reported that a driver was injured in a rollover accident on Highway 416 in Kemptville Thursday afternoon.
According to the police, the driver was headed south when he lost control of the vehicle after hitting an emergency exit near the Kemptville exit, causing him to cross the northbound lanes and overturn the car.
The driver was taken to the hospital, and his condition was listed as non-life-threatening.
The northbound lanes were closed during the investigations and the road was reopened afterward.
The OPP office also urged drivers to “give space and move over for stopped emergency vehicles” via social media.
