King Charles III of Britain thanked the police yesterday, Friday, for their response to the recent riots by the far-right in the United Kingdom, attributing this violence to a "limited number of individuals" and calling for "mutual respect and understanding".

During phone calls with Prime Minister Keir Starmer and police officials, the King expressed that he was encouraged by the numerous examples of solidarity in the face of attacks and a limited number of individuals who have shown empathy and resistance from a greater number of people, according to a spokesperson for Buckingham Palace. This came after criticisms of the British monarch's silence regarding the events occurring in the country for the past ten days, according to Al-Hurra network.

The spokesperson stated that Charles III, who is currently on holiday in Scotland, sent his sincere thanks to the police and emergency services for all they are doing to restore peace in areas affected by chaos and racially motivated violence and anti-Islam sentiments.

The monarch and Queen Camilla rushed to issue a message of condolence to the families of the victims of the stabbing attack that claimed the lives of three girls aged between six and nine at a dance school on July 29 in Southport, in the northwest of England.

Since then, no member of the royal family has publicly spoken about the violence, amidst rumors circulating online regarding the suspect in the murders.

Although the British monarch is expected to stay away from political issues, his silence has begun to attract criticism.

The King, who returned to his official duties in the spring after treatment for cancer, faces this subject as he often celebrates diversity and multiculturalism in the United Kingdom, as well as the benefits of regulated immigration.
