Today, Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, Crown Prince of Jordan, arrived in the Egyptian city of Arish to oversee the preparation and dispatch of the Jordanian Field Hospital No. 2 to southern Gaza Strip, which has a capacity of 41 beds.
The sending of the Jordanian field hospital comes under the directives of King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and continues Jordan's efforts to stand by the Palestinian brothers and provide medical and therapeutic services to the patients and victims of the Israeli aggression on Gaza.
The Crown Prince of Jordan arrived at Arish International Airport aboard a military plane belonging to the Royal Jordanian Air Force carrying the hospital’s staff, equipment, and medical devices.
He was received by a high-level Egyptian delegation that welcomed the Crown Prince and praised the efforts of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in supporting our people in Gaza and the Palestinian cause.
For his part, Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, emphasized the necessity of intensive work to stop the war on Gaza and lift the siege imposed on the Strip.
Abdullah II said, during his meeting with Josep Borrell, the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy: “We emphasize the necessity of pressure to ensure the delivery of food, medicine, water, and fuel to the Gaza Strip.”
It is worth mentioning that the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization sent, on Thursday, November 16, 2023, in coordination with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), a new medical aid plane carrying about 45 tons of medical supplies to support the health sector in the Gaza Strip.
