Iraqi official sources announced that Iraq will resume oil exports to Syria in the coming days, in a move aimed at enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries.
The sources clarified that the export operations will be carried out via land transport tankers, as part of prior agreements between Baghdad and Damascus. This step is expected to help meet Syria's needs for petroleum derivatives, especially given the economic challenges it faces.
It is noted that Iraq and Syria have close ties on both political and economic levels, and both governments are seeking to enhance cooperation in various fields despite regional challenges.
