Ambassador Ahmed Abu Zeid, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigration, stated that Dr. Badr Abdel Atti, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration and Affairs of Egyptians Abroad, spoke yesterday, Tuesday, with both Faisal bin Farhan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, and Abdullah bin Zayed, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, and Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey. The communications focused on ways to coordinate and intensify efforts to contain the current regional tension and to prevent the situation from spiraling out of control, which would increase instability and chaos in the region.

The official spokesman clarified that Minister Abdel Atti's consultations with his counterparts from the three countries also addressed the situation in Sudan, the ongoing regional and international mediation efforts aimed at achieving a ceasefire, and facilitating humanitarian assistance, as well as the developments in the Horn of Africa, in addition to efforts aimed at halting the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip, and reaching an agreement that allows for a ceasefire, the exchange of prisoners and detainees, and the flow of humanitarian aid to address the catastrophic humanitarian situation in the sector.
