The government media office in Gaza confirmed today, Wednesday, the increase in the number of Palestinian journalist martyrs to 115 journalists since the beginning of the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, after the death of journalist colleagues Ahmed Al-Badeer, journalist Sharif Okasha, and journalist Hiba Al-Adla.
During the past 24 hours, the Israeli occupation committed 14 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, resulting in 147 martyrs and 243 injuries, and this is what has reached the hospitals only during the past 24 hours.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health pointed to the presence of a large number of victims under the rubble and in the streets whom the ambulance and civil defense teams cannot reach, confirming the rise in the toll of the Israeli aggression to 23,357 martyrs and 59,410 injuries since last October 7.
Meanwhile, Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Shtayyeh indicated today, Wednesday, that what is driving Israel today is a boundless spirit of revenge, its continuation in violations and colonialism in the West Bank including Jerusalem, and aggression against the Gaza Strip, and tomorrow there will be no real ground for achieving the two-state solution.
This came during his reception, in his office in Ramallah, of the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Luxembourg Xavier Bettel, to discuss developments of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
Shtayyeh emphasized the importance of uniting all voices around the world to reach an immediate and urgent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, open all crossings leading to the Strip to bring in more relief and medical aid, and restore electricity, water, and fuel.
The Palestinian Prime Minister said: It is regrettable that some leaders around the world continue not to call for an immediate halt to the genocide, stressing that serious work must be done to find a political horizon that includes all Palestinian lands, end the occupation, recognize the State of Palestine from Luxembourg and all countries that believe in the two-state solution, and realize the establishment of the Palestinian state on the borders of 1967 with Jerusalem as its capital.
The Palestinian Prime Minister confirmed that the continuation of illegal Israeli deductions from clearance revenues has a political goal, to separate the West Bank from the Gaza Strip, and to put the national authority on the brink of collapse due to its inability to meet its commitments.
