Tens of thousands of Cubans participated in a march that passed in front of the American embassy in Havana yesterday, Thursday, in solidarity with the Palestinian people, accusing the occupying entity of committing genocide in Gaza.
The march was led by Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel on the Malecón coastal road in Havana where the American embassy is located, according to Reuters. Protesters carrying the Palestinian flag called for the liberation of Palestine, accusing the occupation of committing genocide, while passing by the American embassy and gathering nearby.
Cuba has been one of the countries supporting the Palestinian cause for decades, having trained more than 200 Palestinian doctors, and it has no diplomatic relations with the occupation.
Since the Palestinian resistance launched the Al-Aqsa Flood operation on October 7, and the subsequent devastating war on Gaza, a number of Latin American countries have taken prominent stances in support of the Palestinian people.
