France announced its intention to deliver about 54 tons of emergency humanitarian aid for the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

The French Embassy in Cairo stated today, Tuesday, quoting the Paris Foreign Ministry - that 17 tons of aid to the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip arrived the day before yesterday, Sunday, in Egypt, and added, "We continue our efforts by air and sea.. united in solidarity alongside Egypt and the Red Crescent."

This aid includes medical supplies for emergency cases, consisting of a set of medicines and hospital equipment designated to strengthen facilities that deal with emergencies, capable of treating about 500 seriously injured people, which are 58 medicine bags provided by the Tulip Association and the International First Aid non-governmental organization; each bag provides healthcare for about 500 patients.

This includes areas of pediatrics, emergencies, and general medicine, 18 respiratory devices for emergencies, one thousand solar-powered light devices and about ten generators provided by the non-governmental organization Electricians Without Borders, in addition to 336 tents each of which can accommodate one family, 28 tons of nutritional supplements, and 70,000 water purification tablets to make it drinkable provided by Nutrist Company.

These emergency humanitarian aids will be transported on a plane provided by the (CMAC GSM) Association as part of its partnership with the Crisis and Support Center from the city of Paris to Egypt, and will be delivered to the Egyptian Red Crescent.
