A malfunction in the cybersecurity platform "CrowdStrike" caused global issues in information technology, disrupting international airlines, banks, media, and hospitals.
The U.S. aviation authority requested on Friday that all flights land due to a technical computer glitch, according to Sky News Arabia.
This comes after Microsoft announced a glitch in its global operating system, while the cybersecurity company "CrowdStrike" faces a technical issue with its services worldwide.
Berlin Airport announced on Friday that flights would be suspended until 08:00 GMT.
The airport's operating company stated in a post on platform X that the airport is experiencing delays in passenger arrivals due to a technical malfunction.
Turkish Airlines also stated today that it is facing issues with booking, passenger check-in, and ticket issuance due to a global technical glitch.
The British Sky News channel also ceased live broadcasting on Friday.
David Rhodes, the CEO of Sky News, said on X: "Sky News was unable to broadcast live this morning, and we are currently informing viewers that we apologize for the interruption."
Work in the medical system in Britain also stopped due to problems with operational systems, and the London Stock Exchange joined banks and airlines that announced the technical glitch.
