Montreal police (SPVM) arrested three men and a woman after 11 searches related to organized crime.
The SPVM gang suppression unit arrested the suspects in the LaSalle area on Monday and Tuesday according to a press release from the SPVM.
This is the second phase of the searches in the Americano investigation that began in August.
During the searches, police seized five kilograms of cocaine, 12 firearms, six mobile phones, and 2.2 million dollars in cash.
The four suspects were also released, and charges may be filed against them later.
The police stated that the second phase of the investigation will include analyzing evidence to determine the nature of these charges.
This week's raid came after police seized 27.5 kilograms of cocaine, four kilograms of methamphetamine, and 17 thousand dollars in cash in January.
Two suspects were arrested during that raid and were released, and investigations are ongoing.
