"No one will save you from the punishment of God," was one of the last phrases spoken by a Turkish deputy before falling and then dying in the Turkish parliament, during his speech against the Israeli occupation.
The Turkish deputy from the Felicity Party, Hasan Baytmaz, died yesterday, Thursday, two days after he fainted while delivering an anti-occupation speech in front of the parliament on Tuesday, in which he criticized the relations between Ankara and Tel Aviv.
Baytmaz (53 years old) suffered a heart attack after delivering his speech, and a video of the moment he fell to the ground circulated on social media, with a banner next to him reading "Israel is a murderer".
Before fainting, Deputy Hasan Baytmaz said about the occupation attack on Gaza: "Even if history remains silent, the truth will not remain silent. They think that if they get rid of us there will be no problem, but if you get rid of us, you will not be able to escape regret, and even if you escape the punishment of history, no one will save you from the wrath of God."
Also, during his speech, Baytmaz suddenly fell to the ground and hit his head on the marble, prompting everyone in the parliament hall to rush to him, and one of the doctors present in the session provided him with first aid and performed cardiac massage.
Days after his speech, his death was announced at the hospital on Thursday evening, due to the heart attack he suffered during his speech.
