The General Authority for Crossings and Borders in Gaza has published a list of about 600 foreign and Palestinian citizens holding foreign nationalities, who will leave the Gaza Strip today by land to Egypt.
The list of those departing includes holders of Russian, Belarusian, American, Bahraini, Spanish, Austrian, Swiss, Swedish, Bosnian and Herzegovinian, Norwegian, Kazakh, Moldovan, and Irish passports, among others.
Russian Emergency Minister Alexander Kurenkov announced that Russia is ready to assist in evacuating citizens holding the nationalities of the Commonwealth of Independent States who wish to leave the Gaza Strip.
Earlier today, a plane carrying Russian citizens evacuated from Gaza arrived in Moscow from Cairo.
The war on Gaza entered its 40th day, with Israeli bombardment of the strip continuing amid ongoing clashes on several fronts, amid a tight siege on the population and depletion of food and medical supplies.
