The Palestinian Telecommunications Company announced today, Wednesday, the complete disruption of all telecommunications and internet services with the Gaza Strip, due to the ongoing Israeli aggression.

The Executive Director of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Laith Dragmeh, said in a press statement today that the occupation's machinery swept away the generators feeding the main exchange in Khan Yunis south of the Gaza Strip, explaining that the occupation's aircraft bombed the main fiber feeding the internet in the Gaza Strip, after it was bombed two days ago, and its repair took 10 continuous hours due to the difficulty of reaching it because of the occupation's leveling of the roads leading to it.

Ooredoo Company also announced, in a brief statement, the suspension of its services in the central and southern parts of the sector, and its partial continuation in the north.

It stated in a brief statement: With the continuation of the aggression on the Gaza Strip, the main lines feeding telecommunications and internet companies were cut off a little while ago, which led to the suspension of our services in the central and southern parts of the sector, and their partial and limited continuation in the northern Gaza Strip.

This is the sixth time that the occupation forces have cut off telecommunications and internet services from the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the aggression on October 7, by disconnecting the international lines.

The last time was on December 14, when the occupation cut off telecommunications and internet services from the Gaza Strip, and the disruption lasted four days, the longest, before the internet partially returned with a limited return of telecommunications in some cities of the sector.

The telecommunications and internet outage is accompanied by an escalation in the massacres committed by the occupation forces in the Gaza Strip, in addition to disrupting efforts to rescue and provide ambulance services to citizens, as the number of martyrs since the beginning of the aggression has risen to more than 19,650 martyrs, in addition to about 52,600 injured, and thousands of missing persons, in a non-final toll.
