Due to the illegal and unauthorized quarantine of thousands of travelers crossing the Canadian border, a class action lawsuit has been announced against the Arrive Can application.

In a statement issued by the Consumer Law Group, a Canadian collective law firm, it was mentioned that the application caused more than 10,000 travelers to be subjected to illegal quarantine upon arrival at the port of entry, which was encountered due to some problems in the application.

The government launched this application in April 2020 during the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

Since then, this application has become mandatory for travelers entering Canada.

It works to maintain the information and data of travelers and related to proof of vaccination.
