A man with ties to organized crime, who was reported missing from the Saguenay area in Quebec, was found alive but disfigured in Montreal in what appears to be part of an escalating violence in the provincial capital.

A source told CTV that the 28-year-old man was found on Thursday at around 2 a.m. in Rosemont with a missing toe and a missing finger.

The man, known to the police and connected to the outlaw Hellas Angels group, is also alleged to have been beaten and whipped, found covered in bruises, and sought help from a passerby who took him to the hospital.

Quebec provincial police had issued a report about him on Wednesday, stating in a press release that they feared for his safety.

The police believe that he was kidnapped and tortured before being released in Montreal, and that the case is related to the ongoing war between drug dealers and the Hells Angels group.

In a press conference on Friday, the Quebec police (SQ) announced that they are cooperating with other police forces, including Montreal police, to eliminate the escalating gang war following a series of violent events in Quebec City.

The police said they arrested three people on Friday in connection with recent violent incidents in Saint-Malachie, in which a man was killed and three people were injured."
