Canada and the United States are exploring ways to achieve lasting peace in the Middle East

U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Kurt Campbell discussed with his Canadian counterpart David Morrison yesterday, Wednesday, ways to achieve lasting peace in the Middle East

They also discussed the strong partnership between the United States and Canada, their ongoing commitment to Ukraine's self-defense, and resolving the ongoing crisis in Haiti - according to the U.S. Department of State website.

Campbell emphasized the urgent need to reach an agreement on the modern Columbia River Treaty between the two countries.
