Canada advises its citizens to leave Lebanon.

Canada advised its citizens to avoid traveling to Lebanon, stating in a statement that the reason is the "deterioration of the security situation and the ongoing armed conflict with Israel".

It urged its citizens to leave Lebanon via available commercial flights.

In recent days, there has been an escalation of tense events between Lebanon and Israel, with the risk of war between the two countries and its danger to Canadian citizens in Lebanon, especially with ongoing Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon and Hezbollah's daily rocket attacks on northern Israel, which have caused severe fires over large areas.
