Cairo promises the Egyptian community in Canada to shorten the duration for obtaining documents.

Badr Abdel Aty, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration and Affairs of Egyptians Abroad, sent a message to the members of the Egyptian community in Canada during his speech at the “Egyptians Abroad” conference.

Abdel Aty stated that the Egyptian community in Canada is dissatisfied with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs due to the long waiting period for the documents they need to travel to Egypt.

It is worth mentioning that Badr Abdel Aty confirmed that this matter will be resolved, and the issue regarding the required time frame will be addressed through consular coordination at the Egyptian embassy in Canada.
