The British company Marks & Spencer apologized for its Christmas advertisement in which burned hats appeared in colors resembling the Palestinian flag, and removed it following the criticism against it.
The company said in a statement on the "X" platform: "We deleted the advertisement after the reaction, and we apologize for any unintended offense we caused."
The advertisement showed paper hats burned in the traditional colors of red, green, and silver.
The company also pointed out that the purpose of the advertisement itself was to show that some people do not like wearing such hats during the holidays.
