The support for President Joe Biden's nomination is fracturing in New York, which represents one of the foundational pillars of the Democratic Party.

New York's Lieutenant Governor Antonio Delgado called on Biden to end his re-election campaign and make "way for a new candidate," but Delgado said that Biden "deserves our eternal gratitude" for his management of the country for nearly four years, according to Bloomberg News.

This came just hours after Hudson Valley Congressman Pat Ryan, a rising star in the Democratic Party, made a clear call for Biden to step aside in the race against former President Donald Trump.
