Samir Nass, Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, affirmed Bahrain's commitment to enhancing cooperation and partnership paths with Canada in various vital sectors.
Samir praised the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Canada, and the level of cooperation existing between the two sides, noting the role of the Canadian Arab Business Council in strengthening the relations between the two friendly countries in a way that meets the aspirations and common goals, according to a press release.
This came during his meeting with the Chairman of the Canadian Arab Business Council, Mohammed Al-Suwaif; on the occasion of their visit to the Kingdom, with the attendance of the CEO of the Bahrain Chamber, Mr. Atef Al-Khaja.
The meeting reviewed ways to enhance economic, trade, financial, Islamic banking, and investment partnership cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Canada; to bring benefits and goodness to both countries and their friendly peoples.
The Chamber's Chairman informed the Canadian side about the promising investment opportunities in the Kingdom of Bahrain within the framework of the economic recovery plan, highlighting its strategic location, skilled human resources, logistical services, and modern economic, financial, and monetary legislations and policies, which have strengthened its position on the Arab and regional levels.
At the same time, Samir called for establishing partnerships with Arab chambers, as he chairs the current session of the Federation of Arab Chambers.
For his part, the Chairman of the Canadian Arab Business Council praised the attractive investment environment in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which encourages the establishment of joint projects in multiple areas, including food security, medical and educational tourism, pharmaceuticals, and agricultural technology. He also emphasized both sides' aspiration to strengthen economic and social ties between the two countries.
