In his first official decision following his victory in the 2024 American elections, elected President Donald Trump announced the selection of his campaign chair, Suzy Wiles, to serve as Chief of Staff to the White House.
 

Trump stated in a release regarding his first major appointment after winning the 2024 American elections: "Suzy Wiles helped me achieve one of the greatest political victories in American history."

He added, "Suzy is strong, smart, and innovative, and is globally admired and respected, and she will continue to work tirelessly to make America great again."

He continued, "It is a well-deserved honor for Suzy to be the first woman to hold the position of Chief of Staff to the White House in the history of the United States, and I have no doubt that she will make our country proud."

The position of Chief of Staff to the White House is considered in the United States as the most strategic center of the executive power and is equivalent to the position of president of the presidential office in other countries.

After announcing his victory in the presidential elections, Trump thanked his family and then stated that much credit goes to advisor Wiles.

Who is Suzy Wiles?

Suzy Wiles, a longtime political activist in Florida, helped Trump win the state of Florida in 2016.

In an interview with Politico, Wiles stated that she did not like the events of January 6, 2021, when a violent crowd stormed the U.S. Capitol following a rally where Trump claimed the elections were stolen from him.

The newspaper previously described Wiles earlier this year as "Trump's most important advisor."

During the victory speech on Wednesday, Trump said, "Suzy, come on. Suzy, come up here," and gestured to Wiles with his hands to say a few words on stage, while she refused to speak.

Afterward, Trump remarked, "Suzy likes to stay in the background, let me tell you, the ice princess, we call her the ice princess, Suzy likes to stay in the background, she’s not in the background."
