The Palestinian Telecommunications Company announced, on the evening of Thursday, November 16, 2023, a complete outage in communication services, both fixed and mobile, as well as the internet, in the Gaza Strip.
The company stated in a post on its official "Facebook" page that this outage came after the prevention of fuel entry and the depletion of all backup energy sources to operate the main network elements.
Yesterday, "Telecom" announced the stoppage of operation of the main exchanges in the sector due to fuel depletion, where the main network elements have become dependent on the remaining energy storage sources (batteries).
