Israeli Channel 12 reported that the political advisor to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that U.S. President Joe Biden's speech was political and that a lot of work is needed before a deal can be reached.

The American president presented a plan to achieve a prisoner exchange deal between Israel and Hamas and to end the war in the Gaza Strip, during a speech he delivered on Friday, revealing the details of the Israeli proposal for the first time, consisting of 3 phases.

Biden, in his speech at the White House, outlined the proposal, the most important of which is a sustainable ceasefire, the release of Israeli detainees, the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from populated areas in Gaza, and the entry of aid.
