Israeli Channel 14 reported that an official in the occupation army said that the army is moving towards accepting a prisoner exchange deal and a ceasefire, and we will shift to a style of airstrikes that target specific objectives.
The official added that the army leadership is ready to accept any deal with Hamas at any cost, and what matters is stopping the war, according to what the "Ma'an" news agency reported, noting that the army's plans to defeat Hamas through targeted airstrikes will not lead to victory.
For his part, Israeli Minister of Heritage Amihai Eliyahu stated that he will oppose any prisoner exchange deal with Hamas that leads to the end of the war in Gaza, according to what the "Al Jazeera" news network reported.
Israeli media also reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is currently conducting an assessment with heads of security agencies and a discussion regarding the exchange deal.
Earlier, Israeli media announced the conclusion of the meeting of the mini-security cabinet that discussed the deal.
