The Toronto police are investigating two knife attacks that resulted in the death of three people overnight between Tuesday and early Wednesday morning in different parts of the city.
The first attack occurred around 10:20 PM on Tuesday in the Jane Driftwood area northwest of the city.
The police say two men were stabbed. One was declared dead at the scene.
The other victim was taken to the hospital. Police said the man was seriously injured but his condition is stable.
Just over three hours later, officers were called to a residential building on Bergamot Street in Etobicoke on the west end of the city.
They found two people dead inside an apartment. A third person was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
